Log Splitters.

The Sherwood log splitter range allows for the splitting of firewood logs up to 20” long (500 mm) with a splitting force of up to 20 tons, using a 4” bore cylinder, and a stop/return detent valve which is standard on some models.

There are seven models to choose from in the Sherwood range;

1. C190110 : is a 3 point linkage configuration using tractor hydraulics as the oil and power source.

2. C190410 : is a 3 point linkage horizontal / vertical configuration for use on tractors.

3. C190510 : A skidsteer loader version is also available. Horizontal/vertical configuration.

4. C190210 : is a mobile self powered unit which has a 5 hp Motor, a two stage oil pump for speed and power giving fast and powerful operation, a separate oil reservoir with level and temperature gauge and a suction line filter for better pump protection. The mobile unit also has Holden HT wheels and tyres, ball type towing hitch, jockey wheel stand for easy
manoeuvrability off the vehicle, and a safety cover for the hard faced and very sharp cutting edge.

MOBILE UNIT PLUS

5. C190310 : This 5hp unit comes with all the features of the ordinary mobile unit but with the added advantage of being able to be used in a horizontal or vertical position.

This unit is ideally suited for those larger blocks of timber that you just can’t pick up of the ground. Just by standing the mast up in the vertical position and locking it in place ( all done in a matter of seconds ) you can roll your block into place and start splitting. Having your larger blocks down on the ground means that you don’t have to hold them in place and they can’t fall because they are already on the ground,
which makes the whole operation a lot safer for you.

6. C190320 : This is a 9hp version of the C190310 with the same features but with a faster cycle time.

7. C190610 Compact Mobile : The new 5HP compact log splitter, splits firewood in either the horizontal or vertical position.

It only takes a few seconds to change from horizontal to vertical and back again.

Features include a two stage pump for speed and power, integrated oil tank for reduced unit size and weight, 50mm tow ball hitch.
