Sherwood Machinery Pty Ltd offers a
comprehensive range of heavy duty slashers in centrally mounted or off-set configurations, with
60, 80, 120 or 130 hp gearboxes, in sizes 1 metre to 3.6 metre. All come with adjustable skids, RHS
headstocks, slip clutches and drive shafts included, solidly constructed, built to last, coated in rust
fighter undercoat and finished with high quality enamel paints. |
Important features on all heavy duty Sherwood
slashers include : swept down front and rear panelling for downdraft and deflection safety;
front and rear guarding; an
uncluttered top deck for easy wash down; reinforcing bars partly open at connection points
(to avoid water and material being trapped on the otherwise smooth deck, thus ensuring longer rust
free life); strong rectangular hollow section (RHS) headstocks instead of easily bendable flat section
materials; and the three position adjustable skids using fixed holes (rather than slots) thus preventing
